Bio
Dr. Jonathan D. Rosen is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice at Holy Family University, which is in Philadelphia. He has also worked as a professor in Mexico and a research scientist at Florida International University. Dr. Rosen earned his Master of Arts degree from Columbia University and received his Ph.D. from the University of Miami. He has served as a country conditions expert in immigration court in more than 100 cases. He has published 20 books on drug trafficking, organized crime, gangs, corruption, and violence. His books have been published by the University Press of Florida, Palgrave Macmillan, Routledge, SUNY Press, and Lexington Books. He has published journal articles in Deviant Behavior, the International Journal of Offender Therapy and Comparative Criminology, Cotexto Internacional, Revista de Ciencias Sociales, Revista Reflexiones, Perspectivas Internacionales, and various other journals.
