- Grant Administrator II
Provides assistance to and supports the Center's Assistant Director of Administration in all matters pertinent to the administration of grants for the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy. Works closely with Principal Investigators and the Office of Research and Economic Development (ORED) to ensure compliance and monitors the associated budgets and expenditures of the grants for the period of award. Works closely with ORED Human Resource liaisons to manage daily administrative transactions related to HR.
- Provides assistance to the Center's Assistant Director of Administration in all matters pertinent to Pre and Post award for the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy.
- Maintains up-to-date information regarding the grants and reports information regularly to the Director, PI's and Department Heads as needed.
- Assists Principal Investigators (Pl) in the development of external funding opportunities, preparation of grant budgets, budget modifications and transfers. Reviews sponsor guidelines to ensure proposals have strict adherence.
- Reviews grant guidelines, assists Pls in gathering required documentation for proposal submission.
- Serves as the University's credit card backup user for departmental transactions. Ensures compliance and adherence to University's credit card policies and procedures.
- Prepares and maintains grant accounting spreadsheets and financial reports to monitor and track grant budgets and expenditures of grants.
- Evaluates expenditure documents according to federal, state, and University guidelines for grant allowability and appropriateness.
- Audits, adjusts, and reconciles subsidiary ledgers for grant accounts against monthly account ledgers to ensure accountability to prevent deficits in the grant.
- Maintains accurate records of all documents related to the grant. Coordinates monthly reconciliation of grant accounts and ensures accuracy of charges. Ensures payroll charges are being posted to the correct project and accounting code.
- Assists the Pls with all matters related to the operating budget of the grant as needed including but not limited to: validation of budget, Travel Authorizations (TAs), travel reimbursements, personnel, no cost extensions, grant account budget transfers, non-payroll and payroll transfers, tuition waivers, budget exception and effort certifications for each period.
- Works closely with the PIs and the Office of Research Economic Development (ORED) to review all expenditures and ensures all project closeouts are processed accordingly.
- Communicates with other Units to review all terminations, pending expenses and incumbrances before the completion of the project.
- Monitors the grants for compliance with applicable regulations.
- Works closely with ORED HR liaisons to manage daily administrative transactions related to HR. Ensures timely execution of all organizational HR actions required for new hires, rehires, staffing, terminations, payroll and change in status requests.
- Manages the processing of requisitions and purchase orders related to all grants and contracts.
- Ensures that consultants, suppliers and subrecipients have completed their purchasing documentation to become registered vendors to allow them to receive payment from the University.
- Enters Independent Contractor agreements and Services agreements into Total Contract Manager (TCM) as needed to complete necessary grants and contracts deliverables.
- Processes receipts and assures timely payment to registered vendors.

Conducts big data analysis, creates geo-spatial oriented dashboards, applies text-mining and AI, and conducts geo-spatial data curation, selection, and identification for the SRH data portal.
- Works with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Collects and analyzes data from company databases to drive optimization and improvement of product development, marketing techniques and business strategies.
- Assesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.

- Senior Special Events Manager
