We host various signature events such as the Hemispheric Security Conference, the National Security Studies Summer Institute, and the NICE Conference while also creating programming that addresses emerging trends and topics.
RICET Conference
Nov 16 | RICET, or the Regional Initiative for Cybersecurity Education and Training, is a collaborative effort to build and strengthen a foundation in cybersecurity education, training, and workforce for the Americas. On Tuesday, September 14, community members and thought leaders from education, government, industry, and non-profits came together and explored ways of developing a curriculum for the current and future cybersecurity workforce.
NICE Conference
NICE Conference & Expo: Resetting Expectations will take place June 5-7, 2023, at the Westin Seattle in Seattle, WA. This year’s conference theme, “Resetting Expectations: Creating Accessible Cybersecurity Career Pathways,” is about reimagining what it takes to be a cybersecurity professional. By resetting the expectations, cybersecurity will be an accessible career path through various nontraditional avenues.
Hemispheric Security Conference
The Hemispheric Security Conference brings together experts from academia, governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, and private sectors from across the region to examine the most pressing security challenges.
NICE Symposium
NICE Symposium: A Coordinated Approach to Supply Chain Risks was a half-day virtual symposium that served as a precursor to the annual NICE Conference in June 2022. In light of dramatic events and emerging risks, experts discussed the role of the cybersecurity workforce and the need for a coordinated response to strengthen the supply chain.
