Bio

Glenn Alexander Crowther grew up in Ethiopia, Brasil, Bolivia and Indonesia where his father worked as a civil engineer. He has spent over 40 years in government service and is a retired US Army Infantry Colonel/Strategist. He is currently Senior Fellow teaching Introduction to Cyber Operations and the Foundations of Cyber Operations at the Jack D. Gordon Institute at Florida International University in Miami, cyber advisor for several friendly ministries in eastern Europe and Latin America for the US Institute for Security Governance (ISG) and is a non-resident Senior Fellow at the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA) in Washington DC. He routinely travels and lectures in the United States, Europe, and Latin America and specializes in explaining extremely complex topics related to unconventional competition. Alex has a BA in International Relations from Tufts University, an MS in International Relations from Troy University, and a Ph.D. in International Development from Tulane University. He was also an International Security Studies Fellow at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy.
