Doug Schmidt is the Global CTIO of PayCargo, a fintech unicorn in the cargo and logistics ecosystem since 2018. He leads technology, product, data, global strategic banking relationships and payment infrastructure for the firm.
Doug served as Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer for nearly thirty years at some of the world's largest public companies including CNET Networks, CBS Interactive, Pearson PLC, and Dentsu.
Also, an experienced entrepreneur, Doug is the founder of multiple tech startups, an active investor, advisor, startup mentor and Entrepreneur-in-Residence at various tech accelerators in the USA and abroad.
