Sandra Quincoses is an alumnus of FIU where she received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a certificate in Middle East studies. Before and while at FIU, she served as a congressional intern with local Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen for three years.
After completion of her bachelor’s, she pursued a master’s degree from the American Military University and specialized in National Security Studies and Terrorism Studies. While completing her master’s program, she worked as an open source intelligence analyst with the Advanced Technical Intelligence Center in Beavercreek, Ohio. During her work and training, she was assigned Syria as her area of focus. She was able to brief high ranking Air Force personnel on the evolving situation in Syria as it began in 2011 as a result of the “Arab Spring.” Following completion of her master’s and time in Ohio, she began to pursue a doctorate degree in Cross-Cultural Psychology and also pursued an opportunity to work as a social media intelligence analyst with a software company specializing in network analytics. As a result of her educational and employment background, Sandra is now a professional open-source researcher and linguist.
