Brian Tassy graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in International Relations. He was also awarded a Certificate in National Security Studies. Currently, Brian is working as a Research Assistant with the Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy. In October of 2017, he was selected to attended an Advanced Executive Certificate Program focused on assessing the critical cyber threats the public and private sector are facing in the 21st century, sponsored by FIU. Brian has also served in the United States Marine Corps as a military Police Officer with a tour of duty in Fallujah, Iraq. Although he is not a Florida native, Brian has conduct all of his non-military schooling in Florida. His research interest include cyber-security, artificial intelligence and counter-terrorism.
