Aldo J. Fonseca
Aldo J. Fonseca serves as the Outreach Coordinator for The Jack D. Gordon Institute at Florida International University. He oversees strategic recruitment for the National Security Studies and Public Policy certificate programs as well as the competitive Intelligence Fellowship Program. In addition, he manages all high school outreach programs such as the fall and spring National Security Simulation and the Jack D. Gordon Summer Institute for National Security Studies. He is also an instructor for the Honors College at FIU where he teaches Research Methods as part of an Honors Introduction course
Before joining the Gordon Institute, Aldo served as the International Admissions Officer for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions from 2010-2015. During that time he strategically developed recruitment markets in over 20 different countries in Latin America and Asia. He was a presenter for the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) in Miami, Florida in 2012 and 2013 discussing topics in international education.
Aldo earned his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Florida International University in 2007, along with a Certificate in National Security Studies, and a Certificate in Latin American Caribbean Studies. He earned his Master’s degree in Global Enterprise Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2010 which included study abroad courses in La Sapienza University in Rome, Italy and Fudan University in Shanghai, China
